5775 Collins Ave. Receives Positive Reception, Praise from Mid Beach Neighborhood Association

October 18, 2017

The Mid Beach Neighborhood Association held its monthly board meeting on October 18th at the Blue Diamond on Collins Avenue, where key neighborhood updates were discussed. Multiplan Real Estate Asset Management was cordially invited to showcase its 5775 Collins Avenue luxury residential project to more than 50 community members who attended the gathering – not only to present the significant changes that have been made to the building’s proposed design, but to address any questions or concerns.

The primary focus of the Mid Beach Neighborhood Association, which is made up of representatives from more than 100 condominium associations along Collins Avenue (from 24th Street to 63rd Street), is on the welfare of local residents – most especially their quality of life. Matters of top interest include development, zoning and land use, traffic control, crime prevention, noise, and more.

In front of civic leaders, hotel operators, condominium association presidents and residents alike, Multiplan Real Estate Asset Management was proud to preview the boutique development — designed by Miami-based Arquitectonica — to the audience, and was warmly met with an influx of positive feedback.

The presentation outlined the new design of 5775 Collins Avenue, as well as the project’s newly-added public beach access, linear park and proximity to the lifeguard station on the beach. Area residents, who had been concerned about the maintenance of the beach walkway, were happy to learn that Multiplan Real Estate Asset Management will be responsible for the construction of the path as well as its ongoing maintenance and daily upkeep. Meeting attendees were supportive and expressed content with the new design of the building, its reduced setbacks, and its well-lit and landscaped beach access. All were encouraged to participate in the upcoming December 5th Design Review Board meeting, where the project and its updated plans will once again be discussed.

Overall, Multiplan Real Estate Asset Management saw this latest momentous occasion as having been an immense positive for its project and ongoing relations with the surrounding community. The proposed changes being implemented are a thoughtful response to the suggestions and concerns that were voiced at the last Design Review Board meeting on September 5th, 2017. Multiplan Real Estate Asset Management is fully committed to the neighborhood, and looks forward to more face-time with residents and local leaders — spotlighting the uniqueness of the 5775 Collins Avenue project and its enjoyment by generations to come.
